A Tony Award-winning wig designer, actor, and advocate for authentic Black hair representation, Nikiya Mathis has transformed the world of theatrical hair & wig design.
As the founder of Our Black Tresses, I have built a creative hub where actors, models, and industry pros can access meticulously designed wigs that honor and celebrate the diversity of Black beauty.
With credits spanning Broadway, Hollywood, and global campaigns, Nikiya’s work has graced leading Blacktresses and performers, helping them step into their roles—on and off-screen—with confidence
